VIC:Gillard tells Victoria to brace for floods
CANBERRA, Feb 5 AAP - Prime Minister Julia Gillard has warned Victorians to brace for
major problems following flash flooding and severe storms.
Emergency evacuations took place around West Gippsland area on Saturday night, as the
Bunyip River threatened to rise to its highest peak in 40 years.
Several roads in the area were flooded, but no homes were inundated.
