VIC; Outgoing police chief calls for attack on drugs
MELBOURNE, Feb 26 AAP - Retiring Victorian police chief Neil Comrie has called for
the state's politicians to come together in a bipartisan attack on Victoria's growing
drug problem.
Mr Comrie told the Herald Sun newspaper the political process had failed to turn the
tide of drug abuse.
He called for a joint sitting of parliament to set new priorities.
