FED: Jerry Lewis back in October
Veteran US funnyman JERRY LEWIS has announced he will return to Australia in October to
finish his national tour.
The 73-year-old was struck down with a crippling bout of viral meningitis on July 31,
forcing him to abandon sellout shows in Darwin, Adelaide and Sydney.
At a media conference in Sydney, he says he can't wait to come back.
LEWIS, who had only ever cancelled one show in a career spanning seven decades, will fly
home to Las Vegas with wife SAM and daughter DANIELLE, 7, later today.
