Fed: BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto top list of best Aust companies

BHP Billiton has been named Australia's number one company .. in a new list of Australia's
best-performing international companies.

The Diplomat magazine Global 100 lists the global mining company first .. followed
by another mining giant .. Rio Tinto .. and international property company Lend Lease.

Launching the list in Sydney today .. KEVIN RUDD says the resources boom is concealing
major problems in Australia's economy.

The federal opposition leader says Australia's declining productivity growth is being
masked by the once-in-a-generation mining boom.
